BRIEF
The site is located in a street with a heritage overlay, so council required that the additions to the home could not be readily seen from the street. The owners were seeking a home which had a large living area, two further bedrooms with their own bathrooms, and a study.

OUTCOME
The two existing front bedrooms have been retained and the existing bathroom has been remodelled. The ground level living areas have been extended and highlight windows have been incorporated to bring in additional sunlight and increase the feeling of space.
The upper level contains a new main bedroom and ensuite to the front, an additional bedroom and ensuite to the rear, and a study centrally located adjacent to the new stairwell.
